Reminder: Jan Thornton retirement gathering, Dec. 17

You’re invited to celebrate this Thursday (Dec. 17) from 3 to 5 p.m. when Outreach and Adult Access hosts a gathering (in their new digs on the plaza level of the Cofrin Library) to give the retiring Jan Thornton a proper sendoff. Associate provost for Outreach and Adult Access, since 2005, Thornton has had a three-decade career at UW-Green Bay including service as director of Outreach and Extension since 1985. Along with staff leadership of the growing Adult Degree Program, her accomplishments include establishing the Learning in Retirement Institute and co-founding the Business Assistance Center. She received the Founders Award for community outreach in 2004.
