Details on Thursday’s big cross-country meet

As we reported here previously, UW-Green Bay is hosting the FRCC Conference Cross Country Meet Thursday (Oct. 17), headquartered at Shorewood. Signage will guide spectators to the back two Weidner parking lots, with the lot nearest the Shorewood clubhouse reserved for meet personnel, media, and University use. Buses will be unloading the 12 competing teams along Circle Drive bordering the first hole. Race times are Girls JV at 3:30 p.m., Boys JV at 4, Girls Varsity at 4:30 and Boys Varsity at 5 p.m. Rick Warpinski is the University’s point person in hosting the event. As many as 1,000 competitors and fans could attend.
