Meacham, student contribute to online publication

Tag icon , , , ,

Congrats are in order for student Mevia Gappa, who’s making the most of her summer as the first editorial intern for Talking Writing, an online national magazine for writers. Gappa’s nonfiction essay, titled, ‘Croquet? Dorothy Parker’s Got Nothing on Me’ (link: http://talkingwriting.com/?p=21522) is featured in the publication’s summer issue. Many thanks to associate professor of English Rebecca Meacham, who is Talking Writing’s fiction editor, for giving us the heads up on Gappa’s piece. Meacham, who directs UW-Green Bay’s creative writing program, also has contributed several interviews, reviews and essays to the publication this year. The magazine is online at http://talkingwriting.com/.
