Arthritis Foundation asks for volunteers


The Arthritis Foundation is looking for volunteers for its walk at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 1 at DeBroux Park (2900 Brighton Place), Bellevue. There is a need for course marshals/motivators. Course marshals have an assigned spot and help direct walkers. Volunteers will receive a course map and a designated spot they need to be at by 8:45 am. Bring friends and relatives and enjoy the camaraderie. Bring a chair, iPod, portable speakers or your voices to motivate the walkers. The time commitment on the course is about an hour and a half. Most walkers should be done by 10 am. All volunteers are welcome to come early for snacks and water. To request a volunteer form, e-mail Sue Bodilly or Phil Melnarik.
