Reminder: Faculty Development Conference is Jan. 24

UW-Green Bay’s annual and highly regarded Faculty Development Conference typically draws educators from around the state. The theme of the Friday, Jan. 24 event in the University Union is “Assessment as a Tool for Change.” The keynote presenter Barbara E. Walvoord, Ph.D., professor emerita of the University of Notre Dame, who will summarize the current state of assessment nationally including its promise and dangers. She will describe what higher education institutions need to do and ways to make the process sensible and useful. You must register to attend. There is no charge — choice of lunch is included.
