Campus Cookout goes indoors; reminder on donated items

An e-mail notification was sent out to those who RSVP’d for Tuesday’s noontime campus cookout for employees that the event will be held indoors at the Kress east gym because of chilly temperatures. Here’s a reminder that those attending can donate non-perishable food or personal-hygiene items to the UWGB Campus Cupboard. (No glass, please.)

Followup on Campus Cookout invite: Here’s the link to Campus Cupboard

On April 22, an e-mail was sent to UW-Green Bay faculty and staff inviting the campus community to the 2015 UW-Green Bay Campus Cookout to take place Tuesday, May 12. The e-invite contained information about the annual Employee Appreciation Week food drive sponsored by HR; this year, to the benefit of the UWGB Campus Cupboard. Our previous communication should have included the new link for the Campus Cupboard website for those interested in viewing the suggested items.

Don’t forget: Bring food pantry donations to Tuesday’s employee cookout

The annual Campus Cookout, an employee and retiree appreciation event, takes place Tuesday (May 13) at the Kress Events Center. Lunch will be served from noon to 1:15 p.m., with brief remarks at 12:30 acknowledging retirees and the not-really-retiring-but-stepping-down-as-chancellor Tom Harden. Also, attendees are reminded that they can donate non-perishable food or personal hygiene items to Paul’s Pantry at the Campus Cookout (no glass please). Some suggested items are peanut butter, cereal, soup, mac’n’cheese, canned fruit or vegetables, toothpaste, shampoo, diapers, baby food and etc. Paul’s Pantry has a suggestion list.
