Theatre on the Bay hosts annual “Christmas by the Bay” at the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus

Marinette, WI — In December Theatre on the Bay (TOB) returns with its seasonal favorite “Christmas by the Bay,” a collaboration with Children’s Theatre and First Street Academy of Dance, featuring amazing local talent. This year the theme is ‘stage and screen,’ and the audience is invited to sing along to their favoite movie and musical favorites.

“Our holiday show is an annual tradition,” says Lauryn Albaugh, UW-Green Bay Program Specialist for the Community Theatre and Arts. ”The company and community look forward to it every year.”

Tickets are now on sale for performances Friday & Saturday, December 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 10 at 2 p.m. Visit the Theatre on the Bay website for details. The show is directed by Brittany Welch. A preview of solo, duet, quartet, ensemble and more songs include:

Visitors to the show will enjoy recent theatre renovations that include new seating and technology upgrades for lights, sound and streaming capability.

Theatre on the Bay is sponsored by UW-Green Bay’s Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training, offering adults and youth opportunities to participate in theatrical productions. Since 1966, Theatre on the Bay has been a community treasure in Marinette with its home stage on the Marinette Campus.
