UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus to help students with FAFSA forms, Wednesday, Nov. 7
GREEN BAY – The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Marinette Campus will host a College Goal Wisconsin event on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Room M-117, with a financial aid presentation scheduled for 6 p.m.
College Goal Wisconsin provides students with free help in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition to getting professional help completing the FAFSA, attendees who complete the FAFSA and survey at the event will be entered into a drawing for the chance to receive a $1000 scholarship.
Students will need to bring materials with them in order to complete the FAFSA, such as 2017 federal tax return and W2s, information on savings and investments (if applicable), a cell phone, driver’s license, Social Security Number/Alien Registration Card/Permanent Resident Card, birth date of parent(s), month and year of parents’ marriage, divorce or separation, and a FSA ID, if obtained. The website fsaid.ed.gov can be visited in order to create a FSA ID. It is highly recommended that a dependent student attend the event with a parent or guardian.
