UW-Green Bay Sheboygan Campus hosts Lakeshore Talent Development Forum Today

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – Collaborating with the Bay Area Workforce Development Board, UW-Green Bay Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training is empowering the leaders in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties through the Lakeshore Talent Development Forum. The workforce demands further talent development in today’s challenging recruitment and retention climate. The Lakeshore Talent Development Forum aims to meet those needs by sharing information, ideas and strategies to access the talent of the region and provide additional organizational resources.

Keynote speaker, Matt Kures, the Community Economic Development Specialist for UW-Extension will speak about the changing demographic, workforce and economy that surrounds the lakeshore, and explore options for responding to workforce needs in the coming decade. Additionally, leaders in attendance will have the opportunity for further discussion through a panel discussion and community dialogue. Panel participants include representatives from Kitchen Fresh Foods, AmeriCollect and Pine River Pre-Pak.
