UW-Green Bay’s Early Bird Blitz is On
Future UW-Green Bay Students Who Apply During the 2018 Application
Season Opener Can Win Tickets to Coveted Packers vs. Bears Match-Up
GREEN BAY – The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is taking its affinity for birds (we are the Phoenix, after all) to new heights with the Early Bird Blitz, encouraging Phoenix hopefuls to tackle their 2018 application early. The possible payoff? A chance to win Packers tickets to one of the most coveted home games of the year.
“When you are a Phoenix, it pays to be an early bird,” says UW-Green Bay Director of Admissions, Jen Jones. “Early application allows students to take their next steps, like reserving housing and applying for financial aid, in a timely manner. We love to help students keep moving forward on their applications and think this is a fun way for them to kickoff their college career.”
Four eligible participants will win a pair of tickets to the Packers vs. Bears game on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017. Eligible recipients must have completed the UW System online application for any 2018 UW-Green Bay term by Wednesday, September 20. Eligible terms are Winter 2018, Spring 2018, Summer 2018 and Fall 2018.
UW-Green Bay is looking to grow and have more students on its roster as it continues to align with regional needs for talent in areas like engineering, health sciences, information technology, business/supply chain, psychology, cybersecurity and communication. According to Jones, the Early Bird Blitz reminds students to give careful consideration to the UW-Green Bay, the Higher Education Partner of the Green Bay Packers.
