New Project Management Certificate Program offered by UW-Green Bay’s SBDC

GREEN BAY — The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Small Business Development Center is offering the “Project Management Certificate Program,” a new self-guided program based on a skills-based assessment and evaluation.

The program provides participants with a highly effective, customized learning opportunity that caters specifically to each individual’s needs, professional goals and their unique learning styles. Participants will complete the program with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to successfully manage projects and project teams.

Interested parties can set up a one-on-one, no-obligation informational session with instructor Kay Wais, owner of Successful Projects, LLC. This discussion will demonstrate learning activities, course design elements and the peer evaluation process.

The program is scheduled to begin Monday, July 6. Sessions are done by phone and are scheduled by the participant. Certification is awarded after completion of 56 learning hours.

The program is limited to 12 participants. The course fee is $1,500. There is a 15 percent savings when three or more people from the same company register for the certificate program at the same time.
