Season 7 winner of ‘The Voice’ is coming to the Weidner Center

Craig Wayne Boyd, the season seven winner of The Voice television show, will be performing at the Weidner Center on Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.weidnercenter.com, by phone at 1-800-895-0071, or in-person at all Ticket Star locations, including the Resch Center and the University Ticketing and Information Center (UTIC) located in the University Union. Boyd has a sound rooted in the southern tradition of country music and topped with a rebellious flair. He will perform songs like “Top Shelf,” recently released under the Copperline Music Group label, as well as fan favorites like his recently released single “Stuck in my Head,” “My Baby’s Got a Smile,” “Boots On” and “I’m Still Here.” The Sam Morrison Band will open the night.
