New residence hall plans discussed
University Village Housing Inc., a non-profit corporation that has constructed most of UW-Green Bay’s on-campus housing, could begin building a new apartment-style hall within the month, says Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance Tom Maki. WBAY-TV reporter Sarah Thomsen reported Wednesday that with the state building commission’s OK, bonding approval and local permits, construction could start soon on the first of two proposed apartment buildings that could help alleviate the waiting list for on-campus housing.
