Retirement of Warren Gerds

With the exception of the late Edward W. Weidner, UW-Green Bay’s founding chancellor, it’s entirely likely that no individual has seen more performances at UWGB than longtime Green Bay Press-Gazette critic at large Warren Gerds. Gerds retired Friday after 45 years with the Press-Gazette. He says he continues to write, not for the paper, but for books including tales from his life and career and a new historical/fiction work.
