Green Bay is Horizon League preseason favorite

The Green Bay women’s basketball team is picked as the Horizon League preseason favorite for the ninth consecutive year. Among several students receiving individual recognition is senior Mehryn Kraker, who was named MVP of 2016’s Horizon League Tournament, and averages about 12 points per game. The Phoenix began its exhibition season with a 79-35 victory over UW-Oshkosh, and will complete it this Thursday (Nov. 3) at the Kress, with a game against Northern Michigan. See the full story.
