Photography volunteers sought for ‘photovoice study’

Please pass this along to students… Who is ALICE? ALICE is Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed individuals of Wisconsin who earn an income above the federal poverty level but below the basic cost of living. UW-Green Bay students will serve as photographers in this study and will photograph their lived experiences and come together three times, for one hour each, to discuss what they captured with other students who earn an income of ALICE or below. To qualify, photographers (you!) must be making around $19,000 per year or less or have extenuating circumstances that cause you to live paycheck to paycheck. Photographers must be students at UW-Green Bay. As a thank you for participating, you will be entered in a random drawing for a chance to win a gift card of up to $20. It is optional to reveal your identity through your photos and you will sign an informed consent before participating. All who qualify as ALICE are welcome to participate. Click on the link below to register. The deadline to register is by Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. Please contact UW-Green Bay Prof. Jen Schanen-Materi (schanenj@uwgb.edu) for questions.
