Phoenix men, Sykes earn preseason accolades from Horizon League

The Horizon League is recognizing the Green Bay Phoenix men’s basketball team and standout senior guard Keifer Sykes as preseason favorites, officials announced Wednesday (Oct. 15) during the league’s annual media day. It’s the second straight year the Phoenix were picked to finish first in the league in preseason polling. Sykes, the league’s reigning player of the year, earned preseason player of the year honors and was named to the preseason all-Horizon League first team.
