Gone pro: Wojta scores seven in WNBA debut

Former Phoenix basketball standout Julie Wojta made her WNBA debut with the Minnesota Lynx Thursday (May 10), scoring seven points and pulling down seven rebounds in a preseason exhibition game versus the Connecticut Sun. Wojta played 14 minutes and 49 seconds, hitting one three pointer and notching a steal and an assist in the 87-85 victory, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Phoenix fans will travel to see Wojta play in person Tuesday (May 15) in Minneapolis, thanks to a bus trip organized by the Fast Break Club. More info:
