From the weekend: a nice finish by Kiela, Phoenix men’s golfers

With junior Gene Kiela firing a 2-under par 70, the Green Bay men’s golf team made a strong Sunday charge during the final round of the Dallio Memorial at Ruffled Feathers Golf Course near Chicago to claim third place in a 12-team field, trailing top finishers IUPUI and host DePaul by only a few strokes. The Phoenix finished ahead of Columbia, Lewis, Chicago State, Northern Iowa, Eastern Illinois, IPFW, Ashford, Western Illinois and Loyola.
