Promotion ceremony for officers Duchateau and Decker is Friday, Sept. 13

UW-Green Bay Police will hold a promotion ceremony in the Alumni Room of the University Union at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2019. Corporal Sabrina Duchateau and Corporal Tony Decker will be promoted to the rank of police sergeant. You are invited to attend the badge-pinning ceremony and celebration to follow.

Sergeant Sabrina Duchateau is a graduate of the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) with a degree in Police Science. She started working at UW-Green Bay as a security officer in 2004 and became an officer with University Police in 2005. In addition to conducting patrol operations, she also serves as a department field training officer (FTO) and law enforcement vehicle contact instructor. She is a recipient of the University Police Department Life Saving Award. Sergeant Duchateau will be assigned as the department operations sergeant.

Sergeant Tony Decker is a graduate of the ITT Technical Institute with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He started his law enforcement career as a police officer with the City of Clintonville in 2005 and transitioned to the UW-Green Bay Police in 2011. In addition to patrol operations, he also serves as a department field training officer (FTO) and law enforcement firearms instructor. He is the recipient of the University Police Department Achievement in Criminal Investigations Award. Sergeant Decker will be assigned as the department administrative sergeant.
