Student’s mural makes make back-to-school brighter for Eisenhower kids
UW-Green Bay student Beau Thomas made back-to-school a little more special for students at Green Bay’s Eisenhower Elementary School Tuesday (Sept. 3), when school officials unveiled a giant mural he painted in the gym. Thomas donated his time and talent to paint the mural, which depicts the school’s eagle mascot and its new motto, “Eagle Strong.” An area church donated the materials for the mural, which took Thomas about seven days to complete, according to media reports.
