2011 Housing census (2022) is new record

More statistics and factoids for Move-In Day, this time pertaining to the numbers over at the housing complex, courtesy of Glenn Gray, director of Residence Life:


•  They expect 711 new freshmen to live on campus this fall (80% of the new incoming freshman class);

•  In addition, they expect about 35 U.S. exchange or international students, and 96 new transfer students;

•  They have 1,180 reservations for continuing students;

•  It all adds up to 2,022 (about 50 more than last year), which is a new record.  As of today, about 10 students have been assigned to temporary overflow spaces.
