Men’s basketball will have long road stretch during conference play

The UW-Green Bay men’s basketball team will have a tough road schedule this season, with a long stretch away from home in the middle of conference play, the Green Bay Press-Gazette reported Thursday (Aug. 23). The Phoenix men’s team hasn’t yet announced its full schedule, but the Horizon League’s conference lineup was released Thursday. Former conference powerhouse Butler has gone to the Atlantic 10, meaning the Phoenix are in the hunt for a Horizon League title, the paper said. Conference play begins Jan. 3 at Wright State.
