Student Regent Pointer visits UW-Green Bay

A few members of the Chancellor’s Council of Trustees and others from UW-Green Bay welcomed student Regent Katie Pointer, today (August 15) to campus. Pointer was appointed by Governor Scott Walker to the UW System Board of Regents in July.

The De Pere High School graduate who spent a year at UW-LaCrosse and is transferring to UW-Madison this fall, said she is familiar with her hometown university, but Trustees and others gave her the insider’s view of UW-Green Bay and its many attributes and challenges.
