The first annual Children’s Business Fair on Wednesday, August 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. has a new location — at Gather on Broadway — 139 N. Broadway, Green Bay. Stop by on your way to or from the Wednesday evening Farmers Market on Broadway. The Children’s Business Fair is a summer project with local teacher Denise McFarlin and elementary school students who have worked on their own businesses. The Fair will display their products, available for purchase! See more on the Children’s Business Fair. The Children’s Business Fair is one of the offerings of McFarlin’s startup not-for-profit Solid Foundation Learning. The first annual Fair is sponsored by UW-Green Bay’s Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at UW-Green Bay. UW-Green Bay lecturer of entrepreneurship Ryan Kauth and Cofrin School of Business alumnus Marcus Dumke have been advising McFarlin on the project.
