Each Phoenix has a unique story of overcoming adversity, but alumna (’23) and the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity staff member Joseph Ray Torres stands out. Joe is a two-spirit Oneida advocate and presenter with an incredible journey, told beautifully by Pride Center Coordinator Nicole Kurth.
