Spector’s perspective: Structure might need fine-tuning

Making his first report to the Board as President, retired Milwaukee attorney Michael Spector said Friday that, against a new landscape that now includes long-sought leadership flexibilities and statutory changes, UW System Regents must be involved in taking “renewed measure of what we do, how we do it, and why we do it.” That could involve new standing committees that, for example, might focus more attention on the 11 comprehensive institutions, which include UW-Green Bay.
