Adult Degree student earns PEO Scholarship

UW-Green Bay’s Adult Degree Program proudly congratulates Kristyl E. Thomas who has just been awarded the Fall 2013 PEO Reciprocity Scholarship. The Green Bay Chapter of PEO (which stands for “Philanthropic Educational Organization”) offers this scholarship to women in Brown County who have had interruptions in their education, returned to school with a specific career goal in mind, and who have demonstrated financial need. Thomas is pursuing her Bachelor’s of Applied Studies with an emphasis in Human Development and a minor in Public Administration, with an eye toward working with families living in poverty.
