Vigil for those tragically killed in Orlando

UW-Green Bay’s Director of Inclusive Excellence and Pride Center, Stacie Christian and UWGB Prof. Courtney Sherman (music), will be helping to lead a public vigil this evening to remember those tragically killed in Orlando. The vigil, in which the victims names will be read, will be held at the Union Congregational United Church of Christ, 716 South Madison St. Green Bay. The ceremony will begin shortly after 6 p.m. and will last approximately 45 minutes. Participants are asked to bring candles. Participants will also have an opportunity to express their wishes or prayers in provided cards, which will be displayed for the weekend in the church courtyard. All are invited.
