Regents approve revised student conduct code

UW System officials would have greater authority to punish students for certain off-campus non-academic misconduct, and students involved in high-stakes disciplinary hearings would have the right to active legal representation. That’s under a much-discussed and amended code of student code passed Friday by the Board of Regents on a 15-2 vote. Only Thomas Loftus and Elizabeth Burmaster dissented.
