Gordon Hempton, featured on these pages over the years, was in the news again earlier this spring with a segment broadcast over NPR stations nationwide. The 1976 UWGB grad is well known as an “acoustic ecologist” recording unspoiled sounds of nature. His NPR interview is archived.
