Join all UWs for first-ever AlumniLink, May 24

On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, The Marq in De Pere (3177 French Road) will be invaded by an odd collection of wild animals (panthers, warhawks, yellow jackets, badgers, falcons, eagles, pointers), fierce fighters (rangers, titans), some pioneers and even a few mythical creatures (phoenix, blue devils, blugolds). No, not a blockbuster movie set, but something more unique — AlumniLink, the first-ever career, networking and learning event for alumni of all UW System schools. Registration by May 19 is encouraged. Here’s more:

• CAREER FAIR: 30+ Green Bay area employers looking for smart, talented team members, will run from 4-6 p.m.
• NETWORKING: Attendees can meet up with old friends and make new connections – as well as enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cash bar – from 6-7:30 p.m.
• PRESENTATION – “The Upside of Anger: In the Workplace and on the Homefront”: At 7:30 p.m., Dr. Ryan Martin, chair of UW-Green Bay’s psychology department and a recognized expert on anger, will discuss misconceptions about anger, why we get mad and the difference between healthy and unhealthy anger.
