UWGB public relations students host ‘Kitty Shower’ for the Bay Area Humane Society
Students in Danielle Bina’s Principles of Public Relations class put a public relations proposal together for the Bay Area Humane Society and then held an event (Kitty Shower) Friday afternoon (May 6). The students created a press packet, promoted the event, ran the activities and collected necessities. The event raised awareness about the growing feral cat problem in Green Bay, and the importance of spay-neuter. All students in the course (Comm 381) work with various non-profit organizations each semester.
