Senior graduates, competes to be Alice in Dairyland

Congratulations and good luck to UW-Green Bay senior Amy Manske, who will graduate Saturday (May 12) before competing the following week to become the 65th Alice in Dairyland. Manske, a Communication major, will compete May 17-19 in Grant County, completing an interview, writing exercise, media interviews, impromptu Q & A, agribusiness tour talk and a finale speech. She is one of just six finalists for the Alice in Dairyland position, a one-year, full-time public relations gig with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. At least one admittedly biased Log contributor can’t speak to the other candidates, but thinks Manske would be a great fit. She’s smart, personable, gregarious — and those scrumptious cheese samples she brought to a recent Social Web meeting didn’t hurt, either. Congrats and good luck! Read more on Manske.
