UWGB Spanish students volunteer interpreting services

UWGB Spanish students, under the supervision of Prof. Cristina Ortiz, provided free translation and interpreting services during the “Dentistry from the Heart” event held at Bellevue Family Dentistry on April 23. At this event, doctors, dental providers and staff members from the area team up to offer free dental care to people in need. This was the first year that UWGB Spanish students volunteered to be interpreters ensuring good communication between doctors and Spanish-speaking patients.
