Faculty members look to ‘knockout’ childhood obesity

Human Biology faculty members Amanda Nelson, Michael Hencheck, Georgette Heyrman and Le Zhu, and lecturer Isabel Iglesias (Spanish, Humanistic Studies), are battling student athletes in this FUNdraiser to help prevent childhood obesity from 7 to 8 p.m. on May 3, 2017. The event is the “Knockerball Challenge” and the equipment is sometimes referred to as “bubble soccer.” All proceeds from the event will go to the Green Bay Parks and Recreation Department for programs specifically focused on prevention of childhood obesity.
