UW System President Tommy Thompson messages students about vaccinations/testing
UW System President Tommy Thompson messaged UW students this week about vaccinations:
“Beginning this summer, UW System students who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be exempt from routine COVID-19 testing on campus.
But remember, you are not considered fully vaccinated until two weeks after you received the last recommended dose. To skip testing, you will then be asked to provide proof that you have reached that marker.
I encourage all of you to get your vaccine before leaving campus for summer break. Do it for you and do for those around you.”
