Students plan campus event Monday to remember Radder

“A Celebration of Whitney’s Life” is the title of a remembrance gathering scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday (April 26) on the soccer field behind the Kress Events Center on the UW-Green Bay campus. The indoor, backup site in the case of bad weather is the Ecumenical Center nearby. A group of students is planning the campus event to remember Whitney Radder, 19, an aspiring teacher and UW-Green Bay classmate who was killed earlier this week in a traffic accident. Any questions about the Monday evening gathering should be directed to the UW-Green Bay Dean of Students Office, which is advising the student organizers, at 465-2152.

Funeral services for Whitney Radder are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday (April 24) at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, 11608 Lax Chapel Road, Kiel. Visitation is at the church from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. A full obituary is online.
