Save the date: Gallagher-Lepak interviewing for new dean position
Prof. Susan Gallagher-Lepak, chair of the UW-Green Bay Nursing program, will interview for the position of UWGB’s Dean of Health, Education and Social Welfare. The on-campus interview will be Thursday, April 28, with a presentation to the campus community during an open forum from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Rose Hall 250. All are encouraged to attend. The founding Dean of the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare will responsible for budget, personnel, curriculum, strategic planning decisions, and will work with diverse constituencies to promote the University and its programs. The Dean will provide academic and administrative leadership and oversight of interdisciplinary and disciplinary programs in the College. The Dean will work in a collaborative fashion with the deans of the College of Science and Technology; the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business; and the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences on matters of mutual concern. The Dean reports to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and serves on the Provost’s Administrative Council.
