Transplant donor gets certificate of recognition from UW-Green Bay
Robby McClain is the UW-Green Bay Adult Degree student who didn’t miss a day of classes even though he had a kidney transplant. Pamela Nelson is the woman who saved McClain’s life thanks to organ donation. At an Oconto County banquet earlier this month at which both were recognized, UW-Green Bay played a role by issuing to Nelson a certificate of recognition and letter from Interim Chancellor David Ward. Signed by Ward and Associate Provost Jan Thornton, the certificate noted Nelson’s contributions to this most noteworthy story of student dedication to learning.
