Coach of the year is a UW-Green Bay alumnus

Congratulations are in order for Mark Meerstein, head coach of NEW Lutheran boy’s basketball team, who led the Blazers to an 18-11 finish (after starting the season 2-7) and to the WIAA Division 4 state championship game. Meerstein is a 1988 UW-Green Bay Business Administration and Human Development graduate. He is in his 19th year as a business and physical education teacher and coach at the school.
