Close-ups: Arts Management students take to Madison

In early March, more than 20 UW-Green Bay Arts Management students went to Madison to participate in Arts Day. Hundreds of representatives of Wisconsin’s extraordinary arts community came together on Arts Day to celebrate and connect with old friends and new and educate legislators about the importance of investing in the arts, to strengthen Wisconsin’s economy, educational system, and social infrastructure.

Students listened to speeches by Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton and Arts Wisconsin Director Anne Katz. The UW-Green Bay contingent met with several legislators, including Sen. Dave Hansen, and Representatives Tom Nelson and Jim Soletski. Here are some scenes from their visit to the state Capitol.
