1,000 words: When temps top 50, life’s a beach

Monday’s warm weather (for you snowbirds, we topped 50 degrees for the first time since mid-November) was warmly received across campus, as shorts and t-shirts replaced hats and jackets. We also saw bikes and longboards emerging from winter storage, as everyone seemed to be enjoying a welcome, if relatively brief, taste of spring. But perhaps the best image of the day came from the UWGB Facebook page, as a particularly good-natured intern soaked up the sun. WFRV, Channel 5, posted the picture to Facebook and Twitter, and it was mentioned on Fox 11’s Good Day Wisconsin, as well. We’d explain, but it’s much better to see for yourself.
