‘Perinatal Grief and Bereavement’ the focus of Outreach conference

UW-Green Bay Continuing Professional Education will present “Loss of an Infant: An Understanding of Perinatal Grief and Bereavement” from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, March 21 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Green Bay. The all-day workshop will explore the history of engagement with perinatal grief and bereavement, and will offer professionals practical strategies and innovative approaches to enhance their work with those impacted by infant loss. The presenter for the conference is Dr. Peter Barr, a well-known neonatologist and perinatal grief and bereavement specialist. Barr also will speak Saturday, March 22 at the annual Grief Support Symposium (for which UW-Green Bay is a co-sponsor), a no-cost event that will be held at UW-Fox Valley.
