Tuesday’s release of the weekly USA Today Coaches Poll shows another jump in the ratings for the 24-2 Phoenix women’s basketball team. UW-Green Bay is now ranked No. 20 in the nation, which synchs up with the rating they got Monday from the AP Top 25 sportswriters. While Green Bay remains well behind No. 1 Baylor, they’re now ranked just ahead of power-conference schools Syracuse, Iowa State, Florida State, Nebraska, Purdue (and higher than at least 300 other D-I schools that get few if any poll votes at all).
