UW-Green Bay student Marissa Dyess to compete at 2020 Draper Competition for Collegiate Women Entrepreneurs

UW-Green Bay student Marissa Dyess (Business Administration) will compete in the prestigious Draper Competition for Collegiate Women Entrepreneurs from April 2-3, 2020 at Smith College in Northampton, MA. Dyess will graduate in May 2020 with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and has placed in several UW-Green Bay student business idea pitch contests in the past. The Draper Competition is an on-ramp for undergraduate women seeking access to entrepreneurship opportunities, capital and networks. The competition started in 2013 to level the playing field for aspiring undergraduate female founders. Last year, UW-Green Bay student, now alum, Jennifer Nowicki ’19 (Business Administration), owner of tea specialty shop Cultivate Taste, was the only college student from Wisconsin chosen to compete and the first UW-Green Bay student to do so.
