Don’t forget to visit some of the Wisconsin Humane Society’s furry friends on Feb. 18

Wisconsin Humane Society is bringing some furry friends to the UW-Green Bay Campus on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Phoenix Room B in the University Union. Stop by the Wisconsin Humane Society Green Bay Campus information table to learn more about their organization, cuddle with critters and donate; the event is organized to help raise money for this year’s Give BIG Green Bay 24-hour giving event, which is meant to unite local nonprofit organizations and help them raise much-needed funds. The Wisconsin Humane Society Green Bay Campus is one of 40 chosen nonprofits participating this year.

Want to help homeless animals in your community? From noon on Feb. 18 to noon on Feb. 19, 2020, visit the WHS Green Bay Campus’ campaign page and donate at least $10 for your contribution to count towards their total! Only donations made through the Give BIG Green Bay website during those 24 hours will qualify for the event. Your donation of $10 or more will help the WHS Green Bay Campus continue to care for more than 3,000 homeless, sick, injured and abused animals every year here in Brown County.

The Green Bay Packers Foundation and additional local donors are generously providing a combined $362,500 in matching funds for Give BIG Green Bay. Organizations are granted funds based on the percentage of total dollars raised during the 24-hours of Give BIG Green Bay; every dollar you contribute at giveBIGgreenbay.org will have an even greater impact to not only the Human Society, but to all of the nonprofits involved. You CAN make a difference!
