Snapshots from Tuesday’s Chili Cookoff
Tuesday (Feb. 8) was the 18th annual Chili Cookoff at UW-Green Bay. A handful of chili-making chefs cooked up their favorite recipes for the noon-hour crowd in the University Union. For a couple of photos of the Frost Fest event, click here.
And the winners are…
• 1st place: Farewell Chili by the retiring (but not “shy and retiring”) Mary Ann Rose of the Counseling and Health Office.
• 2nd place: Wisconsin-Made Chili by Stephanie Kaponya of the Office of Student Life.
• 3rd place: Andy’s Tears Chili by Andrew Teale and Rebecca Bartoli from student governance.
Honorable mention went to Outlaw Chili concocted by staff member and former contest winner Grant Winslow. Congratulations to all contestants, happy digestion to all the taste testers, and we’ll be back tomorrow with photos from the trophy presentation ceremony.
