Green Bay men allow third-fewest points in Horizon era
When the Green Bay men beat Cleveland State 66-44 last week (Jan. 25) the team allowed the third-fewest points allowed by the Phoenix in a conference game during the Horizon League era. It was an uncharacteristic way to win for the typically high-scoring team. “It certainly was the defense that led the way, allowing a season-low in points in games against Division I teams and making things miserable throughout for a Vikings squad that never got into a rhythm,” reported the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
