Former NAS student returns for lecture on spray irrigation
Natural and Applied Sciences faculty and staff invite you to a lecture by Tucker Burch, former UWGB student and Research Agricultural Engineer with the USDA-Ag Research Service. He will be speaking on his research on human health and spray irrigation of dairy manure, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5 in ES 301. There will be a reception in ES 317 at 3 p.m. Burch received a B.S. in Civil Engineering at Marquette University after transferring from UWGB. He then completed a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the University of Minnesota, where he studied the fate of antibiotic resistance genes during treatment and disposal of residual municipal wastewater solids. This event is free and open to the public.
